Quantitative Viral Serology
With COVID-19 vaccination, the IgG antibodies directed against the RBD (receptor
binding domain) and the S1-protien (spike subcomponent) can be measured. Recent
studies imply that these antibodies may relate to immunity. Greater understanding of
how immunity works and for how long it lasts needs to be determine.
