This panel has been designed as a preliminary approach to confirming the
presence of atopy (IgE) in a suspected allergy patient. The panel includes a total
IgE and 10 specific IgE's. The specific IgE allergens include the following:

Cat antigen
D. farinae
German cockroach
Alternaria alternata
Peanut
1 regional tree pollen
2 regional grass pollens
2 regional weed pollens

The pollens are selected based on your botanical region, antigenicity of the
allergen and cross reactivity data (in order to ensure maximum coverage).
Various published studies have demonstrated that this form of test strategy will
result in identifying the atopic allergy patient at a rate of 95% or greater.
